LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 500 MODELS
| Description: | A first look at the pre production model of 47 408.
There are two alterations to the model these are:
the pipework on the bogies will be in black and the buffer beam will be black not red.
The model features working lights with a switch underneath that allows the tail lights to be switched off when hauling a train.
The model will be supplied un-named but will come with etched nameplates thus giving the modeller the option of a pre 1984 or post 1984 machine.
47 408 was nominated to be "the last one out" of Finsbury Park depot having been already chosen to carry the name of the famous depot.
What better addition to any layout than an Eastern 47 to complement the Deltics.
Please note that unlike our last two limited editions 47 408 wil be a run of 500 and not 750. As a result demand is expected to be high.
