Gallery: The DPS Gallery

The annual NYMR Diesel Gala took place on May 9th-11th and was again attended by D9009 and 55019, although the failure of 55019 on the Friday evening meant its role was much reduced to that planned. D9009 has since moved to the NRM at York,55019 - which was attended to by DPS volunteers on the Saturday and Sunday - will remain at the NYMR for the season.

The NRM's pioneer Class 37 passes D9009 at Pickering. The Deltic returned the train to Grosmont, with the Class 37 on the rear of the train.

D9009 passes D1015 at Goathland on Saturday May 10th. The 'Western' had collected D9009 and 55019 from Barrow Hill two days previously.

D9009 departs Goathland with the 14.00 Grosmont-Pickering on Sunday May 11th,

DPS volunteers worked hard to repair 55019 after its failure on May 9th, but unfortunately the loco was unable to run to Whitby as planned. Hopefully there will be another opportunity soon! The loco stands at Grosmont depot.
