 Salvaged Deltic parts

A flamecut number panel from 55006, photo taken in 1981. (Bob Peach)
The other number panel from 55006 - this view taken in January 2006 when the flamecut was put up for auction. (James Whincup)
Worksplates from 55007/14/17/21. (Alan Whincup)
The 're-engineered' plate fitted to 9016 when it received Porterbrook colours. It was removed when the loco was repainted into two-tone green at Toton in 2003. (Alan Whincup)
Quarter light area from 55004, second mans side, kindly donated to the DPS for display by member John Topping.
55 004 quarterlight inner view showing the corner of the windscreen and also the fresh air vent.
The boiler plate from 55010. Allegedly, this boiler was fitted to 55008, although the photographer knows the plate came off 55010's boiler, since he removed it! (Bob Peach)
A wiper blade which came off 55003 Meld whilst the loco was in the process of being dismatled in 1981. (Bob Peach)
