FAREWELL TO THE DELTIC
This 96 page A5 softback book, produced in a similar format to 'Deltic Deadline', looks back at the special farewell trains which during the last year of BR service. As well as details of all the trains, together with extracts from back issues of Deltic Deadline, it contains over 70 pictures (including 8 pages in colour), a section detailing early Deltic-hauled specials, and articles from various people - Darrell Marsh on the last few months chasing and travelling on the tours, Simon Lilley who was interviewed for ITN and appeared on News at Ten, Murray Brown who travelled on standby loco 55009 on January 2nd, and Stuart Page who was on board the 'Deltic Scotsman Farewell'.
