The annual NYMR Diesel Gala took place on May 9th-11th and was again attended by D9009 and 55019, although the failure of 55019 on the Friday evening meant its role was much reduced to that planned. D9009 has since moved to the NRM at York, with 55019 - which was attended to by DPS volunteers on the Saturday and Sunday - will remain at the NYMR for the season.

On January 6th 2007, the DPS held an event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the end of Deltics on British Rail. (The last BR train ran on January 2nd 1982.) D9009 and 55019 operated on shuttles with replica headboards, and there were talks on power units and the new DPS DVD - The Deltic Farewell Tours (Part 2) was shown. Here are a selection of views from the day.
