The new mountings (see earlier) were left unfixed to allow judicious manoeuvering with the power unit suspended. After remarkably little adjustment and only 90 minutes or so after the crane arrived on site, a T9-29 Deltic engine is seen inside a loco for the first time in over 30 years.
