New DPS/BDP agreement Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
    Wednesday, July 15 2009 @ 07:00 AM BST
    Contributed by: Webmaster

The Deltic Preservation Society Limited is delighted to have reached agreement to help the Baby Deltic Project move their project forward. When 37372 was bought by the BDP its bogies were acquired on loan only and their owner now wants their return. The DPS has been able to assist by loaning a set of spare Deltic bogies, initially for a period of 6 months. This will give the BDP time to explore options for a permanent set of bogies for 37372.

In exchange for the loan the DPS has been able to obtain significant help from Pindari Ltd with the registration of a set of bogies for 55015 which is part of the process that will allow the loco to be operated on Network Rail controlled infrastructure. This has contributed greatly to the goal of getting Tulyar back in action. The DPS wants to put on record its gratitude for this kind donation of time and resources, which is greatly appreciated.
