This weekend was a quiet one with only 2 volunteers present on Saturday and 4 on Sunday.
Saturday saw the following work carried out on D9015 Tulyar:
Air pipes behind both drivers' seats were glossed in white. This now enables the cab back boards to be fitted on a future date.
Door runners were cleaned and primed with an anti-corrosive primer.
Preparation work on the ETH boxes
Some more electrical work was carried out.
Sunday saw the following work carried out in the depot and on D9015:
B-side bodyside on D9015 was rubbed down and cleaned in readiness for a coat of paint to bring that side up to the same standard as the rest of the loco.
The drivers' instrument panel in No2 cab was installed.
The door runners had a coat of dark grey undercoat applied.
More work on tidying and reorganising in the depot was carried out leading to the repositioning of the COSHH and paint cupboards
PS some photos attached. Those of D9015 are from Nigel Lacy and the rest are mine.
