Feature on 55019 in Railways Illustrated

The last of Paul Gildersleve's trilogy of articles on the DPS Deltics appears in the July issue of Railways Illustrated, which is now on sale. It covers the exploits of 55019 'Royal Highland Fusilier' in the May 1980-May 1981 period, beginning just after its release from Doncaster Works following its final Intermediate overhaul.

As well as being available in printed format in shops, the magazine can also be purchased electronically at https://pocketmags.com/railways-illustrated-magazine if you are unable to get to the shops or prefer an electronic version.
