Shutting up shop - with regret

Up until now, we have left the decision to volunteers as to whether they wish to come to Barrow Hill in view of the virus pandemic. However, it is now obvious that, regrettably, but understandably, we have to close the depot to try and safeguard everyone - so they can one day come back and volunteer!

The closure is from now until Tuesday June 30 after which a decision will be taken depending on how this virus is being contained and suppressed.

I think you will agree after seeing the news of what is going on elsewhere, particularly in Italy, Spain and the USA that we should be acting now and not later. Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news for those for whom it is a way of life coming to Barrow Hill . . . but we do want to see you come again!

Thanks for your understanding.
