Membership

As well as restoring and maintaining our Deltic fleet, we also have a depot to operate and maintain. This work requires a constant source of income - a large part of which is generated by membership subscriptions. So why not help us to ensure that our Deltics continue to run for many years.

Joining the Deltic Preservation Society will enable you to take advantage of the benefits available to all our members:

  • Quarterly magazine Deltic Deadline

  • Opportunity to volunteer within the Society in a variety of roles depending on experience. The chance to work on our 3 locomotives and to be a volunteer at events

  • Free entry to the DPS Depot at Barrow Hill, Chesterfield.

  • Fare discounts at Heritage Railways and mainline rail-tours where we are able to negotiate them.
