Driving Tulyar Experience
It’s been a busy week with Tulyar on the GCR. Four full days of DATEX with over a dozen people taking the controls of D9015 in the first driver experiences on the loco this century!
Logistically, supplying loco crew was an adventure in itself, and in a fine example of heritage railways and preservation societies working together, GCR drivers Nigel Ball,Michael Cort and John Pepper were joined by SVR stalwarts Gus Dunster and Bob Dunn alongside a supporting cast of GCR loco crews and DPS travelling fitters.
