What a fantastic diesel gala at the GCR.
Thanks for everyone who came along and supported the DPS. It was especially satisfying to welcome many of you to the #2 cab of Tulyar.
The loco will be undertaking test runs and if all goes to plan will be released for traffic when these are completed.
Many people asked if the testing was this week. That isn’t the case.
The test dates will be scheduled around both the engineering volunteers availability and the dates we can fit in around the GCR operations.
Add to this the schedule for 55009 over the next couple of months and we are extremely busy people.
As has always been the intention, the first trains will be DPS members only. This will be followed by a launch event.
Watch DPS social media for the dates when they are announced.
Now is a very exciting time to be a DPS member.
Not only will you be amongst the first to sample D9015 for haulage you can also enjoy our charter day at the SVR on June 7th where DPS members can travel on 3 round trips between Kidderminster and Bridgenorth for just £22!
