28th December Event Announcement

Come and enjoy a ride behind 55019 in the warmth.

The boiler heating van has been restored to operational condition for our event by staff and volunteers from the GCR Steam Shed.

It will be on the south end of the train but only operational on northbound trips so as not to interfere with our wonderful Napier sound from 55019 ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER.

Bonus news while you travel you can enjoy a range of Deltic themed beverages available from the on train bar. We have Napier Tipple, Oil Slick Delly, Regiments & Racehorses plus Deltic Delight.

A reminder 55019 will be hauling the 10:50, 12:45, 14:30, 16:00, 17:45 & 19:15 services. There are still tickets available for the last 3 trips on the Veranda Car for an additional £10.

The DPS sales stand will be onboard the train with a range of Deltic Merchandise plus some of our new Accurascale D9015 models. We can only carry so many on the day so make sure to drop by early to secure yours. We will also be running a raffle so make sure to grab your tickets to be in with a chance of winning our top prize a Deltic Cab Ride (conditions apply).
