To give members some advance notice, the DPS Board can advise that arrangements are being made to stage the 2024 Annual General Meeting at Quorn, Great Central Railway, in a marquee in the station yard.
The date is likely to be towards the end of March - confirmation will be given when confirmed.
We hope to have a special attraction - D9015 Tulyar.
The plan is for the Deltic to work piloting a service train from Loughborough where it will be detached and parked in the siding outside the marquee.
Members will be able to book refreshments in advance via the DPS - details soon.
There is also the Butler Henderson cafe at the end of the yard.
After the speaker (John Forest, Deltic and other commissioning traction Inspector) has completed his presentation, members will have the opportunity to have a ride behind Tulyar.
