“IT’S NIMBUS” New Deltic Book

IT'S NIMBUS - Chasing Locomotives In The 1970's by Michael Rennie

1977, 1978, and 1979, a maximum of 30 months of a young life spent on Britain's permanent way, chasing blue diesels, specifically, the Class 55 Deltic behemoths of the Eastern region. When I first saw one, I never forgot the moment; the noise, the energy, and the awe, an unparalleled glorious majesty in late-1970s motive power folklore: 55 020, Nimbus...what a machine. Here are a few tales from my trainspotting days.

This book contains 186 pages of text and photos and is available from Amazon by following the link.

It is available on Kindle priced at £4.99 and softback priced at £8.99

All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Deltic Preservation Society, helping maintain the presence of these great locomotives on our railway.

Another reason for its lasting popularity is its endless replayability. Since there are no levels to complete or story to finish, every game in Doodle Jump becomes a personal challenge to beat your previous high score.
