A good day at our depot saw more work in the stores. It’s good to see major progress on the reorganisation of them.

All of the fuel pumps were changed on power unit 417, No.2 end of Tulyar. Hopefully this will resolve the rough running of the power unit.

One of the faults from the test run last week, a sticking load regulator was repaired.

Painting continued with 55009 which is getting close to completion, with just No.1 nose end, cab and part of the roof to complete.

Power unit 430 is nearly reunited with its overhauled main generator, after it was placed on the splitting stands. Minor adjustments next week should see the generator bolted to the engine.
