Depot Report 26/7/25.

The last working party before our locos depart Barrow Hill to join 55019 for exhibition at The Greatest Gathering.

Time was spent sorting an issue with air getting into the fuel system on 55009 and once successfully rectified the loco was run up and everything tested out ok.

D9015 received some detail painting and is looking fabulous. OHLW notices were fitted ready for its trip along the mainline.

Internally, the new cab floor was fitted at #2 end. Both cabs now have new floors. The new soundproofing curtain was installed in #1 end. The one for #2 end is being used as a pattern for fabricating replacement curtains for 55019.

The locos are scheduled to move in convoy to Derby early next week.
