Depot Report 26th September 2026

Another busy day at the depot with 9 volunteers attending.

With Tulyar still at the Great Central Railway, work continues to progress

on 9 & 19.

• 

Contacts on the load regulator were adjusted before fitting the contact fingers.

• 

One of 19's windscreen wipers was dismantled, cleaned & rebuilt.

• 

The compressors in the nose end were accessed through the side panel & the commutators were cleaned.

Also, oil stains were cleaned up from the floor under 19, & work started on priming the electrical compartment doors. Work on organising the stores continues & quite a few visitors were welcomed.
