Today saw 9 volunteers working on both PU430 and 55009.

PU430: Work on this power unit is steadily continuing, and the main generator is now attached to the main output shaft from the phasing case. The power unit is planned to be fitted into 55009 after the locos visit to The Greatest Gathering.

55009: New batteries arrived for the loco and were fitted

ready for the electricians to fully connect them up.

The A Exam was started with great progress and last bits of main paintwork on the loco were also finished off.
