Gala round up

An extremely busy couple of weeks draws to a close and 55009 is now ready for its return to base. Thank you to the KWVR and NYMR for hosting two extremely well attended galas.

Special thanks to all the volunteers at both the heritage railways and the various societies who look after all aspects of keeping these often temperamental classics going.

Finally, thankyou to everyone who came along and enjoyed watching, photographing, and travelling behind the fantastic selection of locomotives which appeared over the last couple of weeks.

Next event for the DPS is the model show in our depot at Barrow Hill on the 12th and 13th of July, where Alycidon and Tulyar will be on display alongside a selection of of layouts and trade stands. The Barrow Hill roundhouse will be open as usual too.
