Join us for one of the UK’s longest mileage heritage diesel events on the 23rd May, with six full round trips covering 96 miles on the UK’s only preserved double-track main line.

Feel the rumble, hear the iconic Napier Deltic engine, and witness a true legend in action. This is Deltic diesel heaven—don’t miss it!

The loco will be carrying a wreath to celebrate the life of long time Deltic enthusiast and former member of the D9000 Fund, Brian Grey who sadly passed away recently.

Stock will be the B set with the Buffet car and Aiden Staples and his team serving hot bacon & sausage cobs plus teas and coffees and a well stocked bar
