NYMR gala round up.

We hope everyone enjoyed Alycidon's return to the NYMR, its FP white cab livery evoking memories of the summer of 1982 when 9 and 19 had their first runs in preservation.

43 years later and the loco is looking amazing - a credit to all involved over the years.

Unfortunately, the loco developed a fault on Saturday afternoon which caused it to miss a couple of its rostered trips but this was rectified by the engineering team and the loco returned to traffic on Sunday.

Thanks to them for their hard work behind the scenes and thank you to all the volunteers for their contributions to the locos appearance at the gala.

Alycidon is now back on Grosmont MPD being made ready for its move to Keighley for their diesel gala next Thursday-Sunday, 19-22nd June. The sales stand will be in attendance all four days. Hope to see plenty of you there!
