Railways At Work Gala

This weekend 16/17th August 55019 will be appearing at the GCR as part of the Railways At Work Gala.

Full timetable details are on the GCR website, but the details for Royal Highland Fusilier, taken from the event timetables dated 6/8/25 are as follows.

Round trips, Loughborough-Leicester and return, departing Loughborough at 09.00, 14.15, and 16.30.

The 11.05 is showing as passenger to Quorn only, before 55019 takes the stock on a positioning move to Rothley Brook. It’s then timed to run back into Loughborough on freight, departing Rothley Brook at 12.35 and arriving at Loughborough 13.26.
