DPS AGM

Quorn & Woodhouse Station, Great Central Railway, Woodhouse Road, Quorn, LE12 8AG at 11.00. All members welcome. Guest speaker after the proceedings, starting at 13.40 is John Forest, former Locomotive Commissioning Engineer who helped commission the prototype DELTIC, the production Deltics, Sulzer Type 2s, and numerous others. This should be an enthralling and entertaining experience.
Here are the times/trains which 55009 (still carrying 55013's number and name) will be in operation on the day of the AGM which we hope DPS members will attend and enjoy a free ride.
Departs Loughborough double-headed by 55009 & 37714 @ 10:30. The train will stop at the Quorn Up Home signal just outside the station for 9 to detach and go into the Up Reception North to be on display outside the marquee where the DPS AGM will be held.
The 37 will then take the train into Quorn station for passengers to detrain and cross to the marquee for the meeting.
The return working is to depart from Quorn at 15:45. This will be a Top N Tail working with 55009 on the rear and the 37 will lead to Rothley Brook. 55009 will then take the train back to Loughborough arriving at 16:16 stopping at Quorn on the way.
NOTE....there is ample on street / all day parking around Loughborough station area. A valid DPS Membership is required for the free ticket concession.
Disabled access and parking is available at the Quorn site. There is a disabled lift at Loughborough station.

55009, still masquerading as long-gone sister 55013 The Black Watch, will be in operation on all three days.
