The electricians moved onto the loco now as it enters the latter stages of the overhaul. Mechanically the engineering team are attending to the last few outstanding jobs, including setting the gaps on the load regulator and collating all the relevant pipework to connect the fire suppression system in the nose ends.
The light green skirt has had its final adjustments done.

The electricians completed their last couple of jobs, including reconnecting the speedo cable with new conduit replacing the life expired one removed when preparing the loco for the recent traction motor change and have handed the loco over.
The engineering team are midway through a C exam.
Amongst all the activity today volunteers engaged with visitors, staffed the trade stand, and signed up a new member to the society.
