It was a busy day at the Great Central Railway, 3 of our drivers - Mike, John and Mike underwent their annual Deltic driver competency refresher, courtesy of Inspector Chris Cubitt from the NYMR who has also accepted the invitation to join the DPS drivers’ team. Welcome aboard Chris, and many thanks for the time. All three drivers are now back in ticket.

Meanwhile, six of the volunteers attended site to have their site working induction done, courtesy of Alan Pakes. This was followed by doing their PTS course. All done and passed. Well done to Bill, Geoff, Nigel J, Paul, Steve W, William.
